R-Fancy Macusani

Birthdate: 8/27/2003
Heritage: 3/4 Chilean, 1/8 Peruvian, 1/8 Other/Unknown
Registration: ARI Registered
ARI #: 1141085
Color: Medium Rose Grey
Stud Name: Moriah's Pepper Jack

Type: Female Huacaya
Status: Bred / Proven

Description: CONSIGNMENT: R-Fancy Macusani ("Mac") is an excellent production female with very good conformation, notable genetics, and a history of throwing significantly improved crias. She is a statuesque gal with nice proportions, a very good bite and a nice disposition.

Mac's fleece is short, but has very nice handle with lots of crinkle. It is very uniform, with average density. Good breeding decisions will (as has been proven) result in well-conformed crias with excellent staple length, coverage, fleece architecture and crimp style.

Mac has a beautiful son by Moriah's Pepper Jack by her side, a very nice looking white male. Her cria does have blue eyes, but does not appear to be deaf. Future breedings should be with gray or solid, dark-eyed males to avoid the 25% chance of another blue-eyed offspring. She has been rebred.

Mac has excellent production qualities: she breeds and births easily, has good milking capacity and has proven herself capable of bearing excellent crias.

Mac's owners have now moved and no longer have anywhere to keep her or the rest of their herd. She must sell now. Please call me to arrange to see her and the rest of this very nice herd of production alpacas.

This stunning silver blue male is one of the finest Peruvian Macusani sons ever produced. His regal bearing and proud stance immediately gains your attention. "Mac" has wonderful fleece with a velvety handle that brought highest praises from ALSA judge, Susan Tellez. "Once you put your hands in his fiber, you'll never want to take them out" Susan commented to the audience after awarding Mac the blue ribbon in his class. Mac has proven his excellence in the show ring, but most importantly, in the consistantly high quality of his offspring. Extraordinary fiber, confirmation, an impressive pedigree of blacks and silvers, Mac has it all! Most importantly, he passes these traits onto his crias. His true value can be seen and is backed by the $28,000.00 to $96,000.00 public sale prices that his offspring have brought his original owners before taking his "throne" as a premier herdsire at Hemlock Brook Farm.
Mac has been sold and his current owners are:
