LadySong's Gold Standard

Birthdate: 9/8/2009
Heritage:
Registration: ARI Registered
ARI #: 31685092
Color: White

Type: Male Suri
Status: Unproven

Description: Stan looks amazingly like his dad, 2-time champion Pale Rider. He has beautiful fleece, with exceptional luster and excellent lock structure even at birth, and has only gotten more beautiful as he matured.

In 2012, Stan gave me 7 pounds of absolutely exquisite, very fine, blanket fiber. His fleece in 2013 was equally fine and dense. I'm looking forward to his 2015 contribution as well.

Stan has excellent conformation and is a beautiful boy with a pleasant personality. We have decided to bring him into our breeding program for at least a couple of seasons to incorporate some of those wonderful qualities into more of our herd. We used him for one trial breeding, and she is due in early July. Meantime, however, we're moving Stan to our "must sell" list to reduce numbers in our herd.

Sonata is our 2006 daughter of TF Portia and The Colonel. This beautiful white suri gal is very dynamic and energetic, with a loving, sweet disposition. Her nibbly kisses are a special part of my morning routine! Like her 2004 sister Rhapsody (who sold last year), Sonata has the type of fleece that I love to prepare for spinning -- lightly locked ringlets with exceptional fineness and handle. Also like Rhapsody, Sony has a lovely temperament; she is very curious and is not at all timid about being handled. Sony is an excellent addition to our suri foundation herd. (As an additional point of interest, Sony's full sister just threw a black cria by a maroon male, and Sony shares her sister's dark "eye liner" and grey muzzle!)

In 2008, Sony delivered a beautiful, healthy white female (Cantata) who received accolades at the WNY Alpaca Show in 2009. This year (2009), Sony delivered a terrific looking white male with a fawn back and tail (we're calling him "Gold Standard" since

Pale Rider is an exquisite son of Zeus Rose and grandson of the famous Inca. With his blazingly lustrous white locks, density, and uniformity, it isn't surprising that PR won championships as a juvenile and a yearling, as well as first place at AOBA's 2006 national show in a composite class -- the best type of class to gauge the overall quality of an alpaca. PR has the conformation I look for in a breeding male, with proper proportion, a sturdy build, excellent bone and a macho presence. Furthermore, PR shears nearly 10# of exceptional fleece each year! We are offering limited outside breedings to Pale Rider, and invite you to bring his excellent Accoyo genetics, his fantastic fiber qualities and his perfect conformation into your breeding program. Judges Charlene Freidman, Shannon McConnell and Amanda Vandenbosch all loved him. So will you!

We are so pleased with Rider's first cria -- see LSF Cantata out of LSF Sonata -- that in 2008 we bred Rider across much of our
