Description: If you want to start a breeding herd, but can only afford one bred female, T.H. is perfect for you as a low-cost companion. T.H. is a romping, sturdy, lively gal with sparkling dark eyes and her dam's sense of humor. Her nickname is "Bounce 'n' Bubble." She never walks if she can bounce, and a light touch anywhere on her perfectly proportioned body results in a playful pronk (which can be a nuisance in a crowded barn!). T.H. has absolutely glorious fleece, with density, a tight lock twist tipping extremely lustrous fan locks, and a beautiful palomino-caramel shade.

TH made her show debut at the 2009 Western New York Alpaca Show where she was awarded first place in the Yearling Shorn Light Suri Female class, placing over her herdmate Independence. The judge particularly liked TH's proportion, balance and stature for her age. Upon receiving the accolade, TH entertained the judge and an appreciative audience by dropping to the ground and crawling on her knees out of the ring! Talk about a performance alpaca! :-)

Unfortunately, TH has a hymen that cannot be broken manually, and would require surgery to become a breeder. Although there is disagreement among experts about whether this is a genetic defect, I have decided to pull her from my breeding program and use her as a fiber or companion female. Her fleece is absolutely stunning, making her valuable as a fiber alpaca, but she would be especially useful as a companion to another female in a small herd. She also serves as my "snow plow" - breaking a trail through new snowfall so the herd can play outside, a VERY valuable characteristic! :-)

TH is being sold at this special price to make room for 2012 crias.

Martina has been the reigning queen of our suri herd. One of our finest production suris, her crias are known for their wonderful conformation, high degree of luster and uniform, twisted lock architecture. She has always produced color. She has thrown a dark fawn female, two golden fawn males, and two palomino gold females -- the most recent having been born the day after Thanksgiving, 2007. Martina's 2003 son, LSF Sarabande (now co-owned by YB Normal Farm) is a 5-time blue-ribbon winner.

Martina not only has the most exquisite golden fiber, but its lock individuation is extraordinary (we cannot shear a blanket from her, because the locks don't hold together!). Martina is easy to manage, and loves back- and neck-rubs, apples and other treats. She has born five fabulous crias, and is a superior, very protective mother. She is an easy birther and an excellent milker. As a Prysm daughter, she has the capacity to throw gray, particularly if bred to gray.

This golden son of 4Peruvian Sheriff has exquisite, dense fiber that lights up the pasture! Colonel's fiber excels in luster and handle, and is uniform in those qualities as well as his golden color from head to tail. He bears dense, lightly twisted "flat" lock structure, with that coveted cool "greasy" feel. He also has excellent leg coverage to his toes. With excellent bone density, his conformation is near perfect, and his stature and demeanor befitting that of royalty. He is an aggressive breeder, perfect for the reluctant female. Let The Colonel bring glowing results to your suri breeding program.

Colonel's crias excel in lock and luster. We have now discovered that he also passes on a wonderful propensity for his crias to quickly develop excellent lock structure even after 3 shearings. We have also learned that Colonel's first grandson (a TB son of LSF Rhapsody) despite being the youngest in the class, placed third in the 2007 All American Futurity!
